Presidents Board

Position
Responsibilities
ASFC President

ASFC President
Steve Anderson
The ASFC president shall:
  1. Serve as the chief executive officer of the ASFC.
  2. Be the presiding officer of the ASFC Campus Council meetings.
  3. Be an ex-officio voting member of all the ASFC boards, commissions and subsidiary units.
  4. Assume such other duties as may devolve to his/her office, or as may be assigned to his/her office by the ASFC Campus Council.
  5. Be the chief executive officer of the President's Cabinet, which assists him/her duties.
ASFC Secretary

ASFC secretary
Jessica Mosley
Non voting paid position. Under the supervision of the director of Student Activities and in cooperation with the ASFC president, the secretary is responsible for:
  1. Taking accurate minutes at the weekly ASFC Campus Council and Organization Board of Directors (OBD) Meetings.
  2. Posting minutes in appropriate places and disseminating to appropriate personnel so as to comply with board policy and state law.
  3. Consistently updating the ASFC Library with appropriate agendas and minutes.
  4. Providing receptionist support for the ASFC Campus Council Office Suite for a minimum of 14 hours per week.
  5. In cooperation with the vice president of Administration, monitoring and distributing office supplies.
  6. Serving as a student representative on at least one campuswide committee.
  7. Other duties as may be assigned.
Student Rights Affirmative Action Officer
The Student Rights Affirmative Action Officer is responsible for:
  1. Serving as chairperson of the ASFC Student Rights/Affirmative Action Committee.
  2. Serving on President's Board.
  3. Serving as a student representative on at least one campuswide committee.
Agents
Agents shall be responsible for:
  1. Active or associate members of ASFC may become agents of the various boards, commissions, committees, agencies, or Campus Council members.
  2. Appointment procedures: To become an agent, an active or associate member must first be accepted by the board, commission, committee, agency, or campus council member; then be appointed by a majority vote of Campus Council.
Parliamentarian
Non voting position. The parliamentarian will serve as a member of ASFC President's Board and is responsible for:
  1. Attending all meetings of the ASFC Campus Council and assisting the president to run the meeting in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order.
  2. Providing orientation on Robert's Rules of Order for all newly appointed members of ASFC Campus Council.
  3. Assisting all branches of ASFC and Campus Clubs in the use of Robert's Rules of Order.
  4. Serving as student representative on at least one campuswide committee.
